1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using jrairductcleaning.com, the website for J R Air Duct Cleaning, a locally owned air duct, dryer vent and mini split cleaning company based in Little Ferry, New Jersey. We've worked out of the same shop at 215 Gates Rd #D since 2011.

By browsing this website, requesting a quote, or booking an appointment through the links here, you agree to these terms. This page covers the website itself. It is not the contract for any cleaning job. The actual agreement for your service, including the scope of work and the final price, is the written estimate we give you before we start, and the work order confirmed at the time of booking or on site.

2. Our Services

We clean air ducts, dryer vents and mini split systems for homeowners, and offer commercial air duct cleaning and commercial dryer vent cleaning for businesses. We serve Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Morris and Union Counties in Northern New Jersey.

Every technician we send to your home or business is licensed, insured and background-checked, and every job is performed by our own crew. We never subcontract a job out to another company.

3. Estimates, Pricing and Booking

We provide a written estimate before any work begins, and we don't add hidden charges once a job is underway. If the scope of work changes once a technician is on site, for example if a duct run turns out to be damaged or hard to reach, we'll discuss that with you and confirm any change in price before continuing.

This website is informational. It describes what we do and helps you get in touch, but nothing on it forms a binding service contract by itself. The written estimate we provide, and the work order confirmed at the time of booking or on site, is what governs the actual cleaning job.

You can request an appointment online through our booking partner, Housecall Pro, at book.housecallpro.com. Housecall Pro is a separate, third-party scheduling platform with its own terms of service and privacy practices, which apply to your use of their scheduling tools, separately from these terms.

4. Your Right to Cancel an In-Home Contract

If you sign a service agreement with us in your home, rather than requesting a quote online, New Jersey's Home Improvement Practices Regulations and the FTC's Cooling-Off Rule give you the right to cancel that agreement within three business days, for any reason, at no cost. When this applies, we'll give you a copy of the signed contract and a cancellation notice explaining how to exercise that right at the time of signing.

This cancellation right applies specifically to contracts signed in person at your home. It does not apply to requesting a quote through this website or scheduling an appointment online, since neither of those is itself a signed service contract.

5. Text Message Communications

When you submit a quote request or contact form on this site, you'll see two separate text message consent options.

• Service and appointment texts, required to submit most forms, mean you agree to receive text messages about your estimate request, appointment scheduling and service updates.
• Marketing texts are optional and separate, and cover promotional messages such as special offers and discounts.

For both, message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or text HELP for assistance. You are never required to consent to marketing texts to get a quote or book service.

6. Using Our Website

You're welcome to browse this site, read about our services, and use it to request an estimate or find our contact information. Please don't use it to submit false information, attempt to interfere with how the site runs, or copy our content, photos or site design for your own commercial use without asking us first.

The text, photos and design on this site belong to J R Air Duct Cleaning unless otherwise noted. Some links on this site lead to third-party services, such as Housecall Pro for booking or our social media pages. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

7. Governing Law, Venue and Your Rights

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute about this website or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Bergen County, New Jersey, and you agree that those courts have jurisdiction.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under New Jersey consumer protection law, including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act. If any part of these terms conflicts with a right the law gives you as a New Jersey consumer, that part doesn't apply, and the rest of these terms stays in effect.

Our liability connected to this website itself is limited to what's reasonable, and does not extend beyond the value of any transaction conducted through the site. J R Air Duct Cleaning has been cleaning air ducts, dryer vents and mini-split systems out of the same shop at 215 Gates Rd #D in Little Ferry, New Jersey since 2011. We serve homes and businesses across Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Morris and Union Counties.

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit jrairductcleaning.com, request a quote, book an appointment, or call or text our office, why we collect it, and the choices you have about it. 2. Information We Collect

When you fill out a quote or contact form on our homepage, our contact page, or any of our service pages, we ask for:

• First name and last name
• Phone number and email address
• Your town or city
• Which service you are interested in
• Any notes you want to add about the job

First name, phone number and email address are required to submit a form; the rest are optional. When a form is submitted, our site also automatically records the date and time, which page the form came from, the IP address the submission came from, and your browser's user agent. That last part is standard technical information every website receives when a form is submitted, and we use it only to route the lead correctly and to catch spam, not to build a profile of you.

If you call or text our office directly instead of using a form, we only keep whatever information you choose to share with us over the phone.

3. How We Use Your Information

5. Booking, Analytics and Other Tools We Use

Online booking on our site runs through Housecall Pro (book.housecallpro.com), an outside scheduling platform. When you book an appointment through that link, you are on Housecall Pro's site and subject to its own privacy practices in addition to ours, so it is worth a look at their policy too.

Our site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc., the company behind Facebook and Instagram. When you open a page on our site, the Meta Pixel tells Meta which page you viewed, along with standard technical details such as your IP address, browser and device, and it may set or read cookies in your browser. Meta may connect this to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. We use it to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads work and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. It does not send Meta anything you type into our quote form. Meta handles this information under its own privacy policy.

You can limit how Meta uses your visits for ads in your Facebook ad preferences, opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings. None of these affect your ability to use our site or reach us for service.

Our site also uses Google Analytics, a service from Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use our site so we can improve it. When you open a page on our site, Google Analytics records which page you viewed, how you reached our site, and standard technical details such as your browser, device and general location, and it sets cookies in your browser (their names start with _ga) to recognize return visits. It does not send Google anything you type into our quote form. Google handles this information as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings. Neither the Meta Pixel nor Google Analytics will ever be used to sell your personal information.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in two situations: with the service providers that help us run the business, such as our scheduling and booking platform and the tools we use to call, text or email you back, or when we are required to by law, subpoena or court order. Apart from the website visit data the Meta Pixel sends to Meta and Google Analytics sends to Google, described in section 5, we do not hand your information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Your Privacy Choices

As a small, locally owned business we collect a modest amount of information, mainly names and contact details from people requesting quotes, and we never sell it, so we likely fall below the consumer-volume thresholds that trigger the New Jersey Data Privacy Act's requirements for larger companies. We are following its spirit anyway, because it is the right way to run this business.

You can ask us at any time what information we have on file for you, or ask us to delete it, by calling (551) 290-8900 or submitting a request through our contact page. We will confirm what we have and act on reasonable requests within a reasonable time. 8. Data Security, Retention and Children's Privacy

We keep the information you send us only as long as we need it to handle your request, service your job, and meet our own recordkeeping obligations, and we take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorized access. No method of storing or transmitting data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Our services are meant for adults arranging home or business service, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
